Camp Cruz is a glampground located in a redwood forest only a short drive from the Bay Area and the beaches & entertainment attractions of Santa Cruz. Our mission is to provide people an opportunity to unwind, recharge, and create special memories by connecting with nature. It is a perfect destination for couples or groups who want to go camping without bringing all the equipment typically needed for camping. What makes Camp Cruz unique is that we only accept one group at a time, so no matter what your group size, guests get the whole glampground to themselves privately. The glampground features a fully equipped covered outdoor kitchen, clean composting toilets, hot showers, and much more. Guests also have access to a propane fire pit, a garden, a deck overlooking the creek, hammocks, a meditation pagoda, and private open space in the forest. We provide our guests with a guide to nearby hiking trails. The glampground offers guests up to two bedrooms depending on their group size: the Raven’s Nest (aircrete dome) and the Owl’s Nest (yurt).
