Camp Cherry Valley is a historic Boy Scout camp located on Santa Catalina Island in Cherry Cove, California, with over 100 years of Scouting tradition dating back to 1923. The camp welcomes Scouts for eight weeks of resident camp programming during summer 2026, offering a unique island setting known for its calm, crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life. Campers enjoy a variety of water and land-based activities including ocean kayaking, snorkeling with colorful garibaldi fish, hiking rugged island trails with sweeping ocean views, earning merit badges, and gathering around campfires under the stars. Nestled in a sheltered cove with a sandy beach, the camp provides a balance of adventure and reflection where Scouts develop leadership skills, build lifelong friendships, and create lasting memories. The camp is operated under the Scout Oath and Scout Law principles, emphasizing trustworthiness, loyalty, helpfulness, and personal growth. After extensive restoration by Pacific Treasure Foundation, Camp Cherry Valley is reopening for its 101st season of transforming young lives through outdoor education and adventure.
