Camp Branch Campground at Smithville Lake offers 346 campsites, including 146 unimproved sites and 200 sites with electric hookups (50 amp). Many sites are located along the shoreline with easy access to hiking, biking, and walking trails. Playgrounds are centrally located at each campground, and shower houses are conveniently located in each campground. A dump station is located at the entrance to each campground, and easy access to boat ramps is available nearby. Camp Branch offers a swim beach, marina for boat rentals, gas, and fishing supplies, as well as a handicap fishing dock near Crow's Creek Campground. Tornado shelters are located at Camp Branch Marina and Little Platte Park. Online reservations are available 24 hours a day, and phone reservations can be made Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Camping fees range from $22 to $40 per site per day, depending on the type of site and amenities.
