Welcome to Camp Bethel, a Christian family camp located in Haddam, CT along the Connecticut River. Camp Bethel offers a unique experience for visitors to enjoy the historic charm and simple fellowship found during their annual Camp Meeting Week, usually held the first week of August. The camp is situated in a beautiful natural setting, with accessible natural beauty and wildlife not commonly seen in urban areas. Visitors can expect to see migrating and native birds, Ospreys, Cormorants, hummingbirds, Great Herons, Pileated Woodpeckers, American Bald Eagles, and Golden Eagles. The camp is open to visitors who don't have to be members of the Camp Bethel Association to attend. The camp is made possible by countless volunteers who work together to make the grounds look beautiful and create the annual summer Camp Meeting. Visitors can experience the natural beauty of the ecosystem and wildlife of the Connecticut River Valley, and enjoy the stunning work of their Creator. Camp Bethel is a place where people from across the country and around the world come together for a week of fellowship, learning, and deepening their faith.
