Calef Lake Campground is a family-oriented campground located just 20 minutes southeast of Manchester, NH, situated on 40 wooded acres of tall pines with over a quarter mile of direct lakefront on Calef Lake. The campground offers diverse accommodation options including full hookup RV sites, rural tent sites, luxury glamping tents, rustic cabins, a rental trailer, and a lakeside vacation house. Visitors can enjoy a sandy beach with swimming, fishing at two lakes, and boat rentals including canoes, paddle boards, kayaks, row boats, and paddle boats. The campground features weekly activities for all ages, a camp store selling basics, ice, wood, propane, and ice cream, and amenities like a floating raft and trampoline. Originally started by the Cooper family in the early 1970s, the campground has been expanded over generations and provides a clean, safe, secure environment close to many top tourist locations in southern New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts.
