About
Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center provides a family camping program with various activities, including staff-led hikes, camping skills, and equipment rentals. The center has 22 campsites, all canoe accessible, and offers a range of amenities. Campers are expected to follow leave no trace principles and respect the environment. Reservations are available for some campsites, with fees ranging from $30 to $75. Firewood can be supplied by the ELC for a fee, and collecting downed wood is allowed, but not cutting live trees. The center is located 20 miles north of Duluth, MN, and offers a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of the Boundary Waters.
