Butte Lake Stock Corral is a remote facility located in the northeastern section of Lassen Volcanic National Park in northern California. It is situated at an elevation of 6,100 ft. and is within walking distance of Butte Lake, which offers opportunities for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and swimming. Several trails are nearby, and the facility is 45 minutes from the main park road. The area is dominated by Ponderosa pines and surrounded by soft volcanic soils. The national park is known for its volcanic history, diversity of plants and animals, and unique habitats at the junction of the Cascade Mountains, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and the Great Basin.
