About
Bur Oak Campground is one of three campgrounds at Hillview Recreation Area in Iowa. It has 18 campsites with electric hookups, suitable for small campers. The campsites are paved and roughly 40' x 10'. A vault toilet is available at this campground as well as a communal water hydrant. The elk enclosure, picnic shelter, Center for Outdoor Learning, and playground are all very close to this campground. The fishing pond and swimming beach are just a short walk or drive from Bur Oak. Campgrounds are open from May 1st - October 14th.
