Bumblebee Campground is a scenic camping destination located in a beautiful meadow within the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, situated near the Little North Fork Coeur d'Alene River at an elevation of 2,200 feet. The campground features two loops with vault toilets and paved roads, making it an ideal base camp for fishing and seasonal hunting activities. Its creekside location provides easy access to popular water activities including swimming, wading, and floating the river. Trout fishing is available approximately half a mile away in the Little North Fork, where rainbow and cutthroat trout are commonly caught. The campground also offers convenient access to the 803 Motorized Trail System about 15 miles away, providing dedicated off-road trails in the Steamboat Creek area. Nearby, the charming town of Coeur d'Alene offers additional recreation opportunities including paddle boating, parasailing, and seaplane tours on Lake Coeur d'Alene, along with various shops and restaurants.
