Legendary Waters Resort & Casino is a beautiful resort and casino on Lake Superior that provides guests with amazing views throughout the entire facility. Located just three miles north of Bayfield, twenty-three miles north of Ashland, and eighty miles east of The Twin Ports (Duluth/Superior) on Highway 13. The resort offers an indoor pool, indoor/outdoor whirlpool, and 47 luxurious rooms each showcasing its own spectacular view of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands. Buffalo Bay Campground, one of the two campgrounds, accommodates RVs and tents and is adjacent to the resort and casino. Point Detour 'Wilderness' Campground is located a few miles north, but seems a world apart with its rustic camp sites nestled on a bluff overlooking Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands. The marina at Legendary Waters Resort & Casino accommodates slips for both transient and seasonal docking, and the boat launch is accessible for smaller crafts. Most slips have electric and water hook-ups. When your day calls for a delicious meal, Legends Sports Grill and the Legendary Snack Bar are both located onsite for your dining enjoyment. Entertainment is never lacking at Legendary Waters Resort & Casino, with the event and convention center hosting several regional and local bands, and a wide-spectrum of nationally recognized acts.
