About
Buddha Root Farm is a serene retreat center located in Oregon. The farm offers a unique opportunity to practice Guan Yin recitation and Chan meditation in a peaceful natural setting. The retreat is led by Dharma teachers from DRBA and follows a daily schedule of recitation, meditation, sutra study, and community work. Participants will stay in tents or their own vehicles and have access to outdoor showers and porta-potties. The farm takes COVID safety measures seriously, including regular testing and minimizing exposure to possible infection before the retreat. The retreat aims to create a space of stillness, attention, and shared practice, and service plays a central role in the overall experience by bringing the Dharma into daily life, supporting others, and creating a sense of community.
