About

Buck Creek Park is a scenic campground located on the Arkansas side of Bull Shoals Lake, a massive 71,000-acre reservoir fed by the White River. The park offers 38 shaded campsites with excellent opportunities for water sports, hiking, and picnicking. A notable feature is the Peel Ferry, Arkansas's last remaining state-operated ferry, which departs from Buck Creek and connects Highway 125 between Arkansas and Missouri, providing convenient access to the lower stretches of the lake. The area is known for its natural beauty, with hardwood and cedar forests lining the shoreline, and attracts visitors year-round for activities including jet skiing, water skiing, fishing, and bird watching. Fall foliage draws particularly large crowds for the annual Flaming Fall Revue celebration.
