Owned and operated by the Catholic Diocese of Sioux Falls since 2004, Broom Tree Retreat Center offers Ignatian Silent Retreats, hosting at Broom Tree Youth & Family Camp vibrant youth ministries and families gathered to unplug from the world and be refreshed by the beauty of God's great outdoors. Broom Tree Retreat Center sits on 300 beautiful, rural acres 6 miles west of Irene, South Dakota on Hwy 46. Broom Tree Youth & Family Camp, just a quarter of a mile from the Retreat Center, hosts lively youth camps and offers excellent camping facilities for families to gather, relax, and reconnect. The retreat center is a clean, modern, hotel-like facility that offers a comfortable, private environment specifically designed for silent prayer.
