About

The Brighton Boat Access is a popular entry point for persons fishing and boating in this segment of the Skunk River. It is owned by the Department Of Natural Resources and was acquired and constructed in 1988. The Washington County Conservation Board manages the property. The site features a pit vault latrine and boat ramp, and is open to public hunting. Primitive camping is permitted. Channel and flathead catfish are the primary fish species harvested from the Brighton Boat Access. Other "bonus" river species are also caught.
