Brewster River Campground is a scenic 20-acre riverside campground located in Jeffersonville, Vermont, nestled in the mountains near Smugglers' Notch. The property stretches along the picturesque Brewster River and features a stunning 20-foot waterfall and swimming hole, creating a tranquil natural setting ideal for reconnecting with nature. The campground offers 13 riverside tent sites, 4 lawn sites, 3 wooded sites, plus accommodations including a fully-equipped Loft, Cottage, Rustic Cabin, lean-to, and an offsite Mountainside Home, accommodating around 125 campers total. Each campsite includes private river access, a picnic table, firepit, and parking. Visitors can enjoy swimming and hiking in the river, stargazing under dark skies with abundant fireflies in mid-summer, and access to nearby outdoor activities including the Long Trail, Mt. Mansfield hikes, horseback riding, fishing, bicycling, and kayaking on the Lamoille River. The campground does not accommodate large RV motorhomes but welcomes smaller RVs, camper vans, popups, and trailers without hookups.
