Bourne Scenic Park has been serving the community since 1951 as a premier camping destination in Bourne, Massachusetts. The park has grown from its original 200 sites to 439 sites today, with 408 featuring electric hookups, plus newly added cabins and rustic lodges. Owned and operated by the Bourne Recreation Authority on land leased from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the park offers scenic views of the Cape Cod Canal and a laid-back atmosphere that appeals to families and outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including fishing, hiking, biking, and rollerblading along the Canal banks, scheduled entertainment and recreational activities for both children and adults, a recreation hall with video games and movies, a park store with groceries and camping supplies, and access to pools and recreation areas. The park operates seasonally from April through October and welcomes pets at electric and non-electric sites.
