Bluffview is a day-use recreation area located on the Salt River, approximately 10 miles downstream of Mark Twain Lake and the Clarence Cannon Dam in north-central Missouri. This scenic destination offers excellent opportunities for boating and fishing in the same waters that inspired Mark Twain's legendary characters like Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. The area is characterized by tree-topped hills that hug both Mark Twain Lake and the Salt River. Visitors can enjoy fishing for bass below the Re-Regulation Dam, bird watching for waterfowl, and boating.
