Black River State Forest Campground

This secluded, rustic campground offers quick access to the Black River, making it a prime spot for anglers. It's especially popular in the spring and fall for its strong runs of steelhead and salmon. There are 12 sites available for tents, small trailers and large trailers. The campground is located 8 miles northeast of Naubinway via US-2 East and Black River Road. The campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 feet of an occupied dwelling. The rustic campground is located on Black River. Please be mindful of high-water safety. The campground is open all year; however, the campground and seasonal roads are not plowed.
