Welcome to Bear Claw Campgrounds & Horse Trails, the primary start to our horse trails. Our camp is situated in a beautiful setting, surrounded by the Chequamegon National Forest. We offer a range of trails for all skill levels, including the Lake Eleven trail, Buddy's trail, Katie's trail, Tower Trail, Spirit trail, Lost Trail, Two Lakes Trail, and Dancer's Trail. These trails offer a mix of single file and old logging roads, with creek crossings and scenic views. We also have four shortcuts, A, B, C, and D, to help you navigate the trails. Our trails are on both Federal Forest Land and Taylor County Land, with strict rules in place to keep the forest primitive. We are responsible for any damage, including tearing up the parking lot, so please be respectful on Taylor County property, and while riding in the Chequamegon National Forest. We are excited to have you join us on our trails and look forward to many improvements in the years to come.
