Back 40 Campground is a family-owned and operated campground located in northern Logan County, Ohio, just nine miles north of Bellefontaine off State Route 68. Situated on 34+ acres of rolling hills, the campground has been part of Ohio's camping experience for over 50 years. It features 82 total sites with spacious layouts that allow campers to spread out without intruding on neighbors. The property includes two ponds for swimming and fishing, hiking trails, a dog run, playground with swings and slides, basketball and volleyball courts, a climbing wall, and a gaga pit. All campsites come equipped with 30 amp electric and water hookups. The campground also offers a lodge/recreation building with a general store, shower house, and dump station. The Back 40 emphasizes a peaceful camping experience and is known for excellent stargazing opportunities, making it ideal for families and nature enthusiasts seeking relaxation and outdoor recreation.
