Davis National Historic Site, the McDonald Observatory, the Marfa Mystery Lights, the Chinati Foundation, and spectacular wildlife viewing! Alpine is also the home of Sul Ross State University, location of the Museum of Big Bend. The climate is mild year-round and a perfect place to visit all year long. Summer has low humidity with light breezes and cool nights. Winter is also mild with lots of sunshine!
