Artesian Park RV Campground is a historic campground located in Brenham, Texas, centrally positioned between Houston and Austin (approximately 87 miles from each). The park opened in the early 1900s as a recreational destination featuring a swimming pool fed by artesian water flow and has evolved into a full-service RV park. Today, it retains its historical charm with original attractions including a working 1921 merry-go-round and a restored recreation hall that was once a dance hall hosting notable performers. The park is conveniently situated 40 minutes from College Station and 2 hours from San Antonio, making it an ideal base for exploring the region's rich Texas history and attractions.
