The Clements Scout Ranch is home to Trevor Rees-Jones Scout Camp and Camp Meisenbach. The ranch has a herd of horses just waiting to be ridden. Trail rides can be reserved on Saturday only. Trevor Rees-Jones Scout Camp and Camp Meisenbach have some of the best-stocked fishing lakes in the State of Texas. Just bring your rod and reel along with some bait, and you just might land yourself a giant largemouth bass. The ranch has 3,200 acres of pine forest with five lakes, offering various activities such as fishing, swimming, canoes, rowboats, and shooting sports. The COPE course, Gaga ball pit, ATV program, and equestrian program are also available. The campsites have air-conditioned dining halls, fully plumbed private bath houses, and restrooms. The camps offer a variety of traditional program areas, including a first-class Museum of Natural History and a 60 ft. John Coffman Climbing Tower. The Roy & Frances Rea COPE Center and The John Coffman Climbing & Rappelling Complex are also located at Trevor Rees-Jones Scout Camp. The ranch is located at 11217 FM 2970, Athens, TX 75751, and can be reached by taking US 175 east to Athens and then following the directions provided.
