Arapaho Bay Roaring Fork Campground is located in the Arapaho National Recreation Area on Lake Granby, southeast of Grand Lake, at an elevation of 8,300 feet. The campground features three loops of single- and double-family sites, each equipped with a picnic table, campfire ring, and tent pad, with vault toilets, drinking water, and trash collection available. Due to mountain pine beetle infestation and hazardous tree removal, the campground offers little to no shade. The area is renowned for excellent boating, fishing, and hiking opportunities, with Lake Granby offering kokanee salmon and various trout species. Visitors can explore numerous trails within the Arapaho National Recreation Area, including the Roaring Fork Trail, Monarch Lake Trail, and the East Shore Trail, which is part of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. Rocky Mountain National Park's west entrance is just north of Grand Lake, providing additional opportunities for scenic driving, hiking, backpacking, and wildlife viewing.
