Alps Family Campground is a family-friendly RV park and campground located in Averill Park, New York, just 17 miles east of Albany and 13 miles south of Troy. Situated in a beautiful, quiet country setting on Route 43 between Averill Park and Stephentown, the campground offers a variety of camping experiences from May 1st through October 15th. Guests can choose from pull-through and back-in RV sites with water and electric hookups, as well as wooded or sun-bathed tent camping areas, all featuring fire rings and picnic tables. For those without their own equipment, camping cabins are available. The facility features extensive amenities including a swimming pool, nature trails, fishing pond, activity pavilion, video arcade, basketball area, softball field, horseshoe pits, laundromat, and a gift shop. The campground hosts various themed weekend activities and events throughout the season.
