Adventures of Putman Lake is a premier family campground situated on 60+ acres of serene northern Michigan woods near Baldwin, in Lake County. The campground is centered around beautiful Putman Lake, offering a private beach where guests can swim, kayak, and rowboat on the electric motor-only lake. With over 100 sites available, the park caters to various camping preferences including rustic sites, traditional sites, and RV sites with electric hookups and potable water. The location serves as an excellent base for outdoor recreation, with miles of hiking and ORV trails connecting to state and federal lands, plus access to over 156 lakes in the county. The nearby Pere Marquette River, less than five minutes away, is regarded as one of the top trout, salmon, and steelhead rivers in the country. Traditional camping is open May 1st through October 31st, while seasonal residents have year-round access.
